Boxpark brings Gingerbread Land for little visitors this festive season
For those with a sweet-tooth for that distinctive festive flavour, Boxpark, Dubai’s hip urban destination by Meraas, is bringing ‘Gingerbread Land’ to visitors for days of baking fun for the whole family from 19 to 31 December.
Join a tasty session of gingerbread house decorating, where young ones can accessorise the classic soft baked cookie houses and transform them into an edible home fit for a gingerbread king with multicoloured gummies, sprinkles and candy galore.
Kids will be able to step into the sugary haven of ‘Gingerbread Land’ where a selection of games and activities await. Little ones can try their hand at a challenging slide puzzle or pull a festive face at the colourful face-painting corner. There’s also a “spin the wheel” area giving kids a chance to win exciting instant prizes. And if they feel like belting out their favourite tunes, “Sing along Videoke” will be set up to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
And the fun isn’t contained just within the walls of ‘Gingerbread Land’, as a parade of giant (but not edible) gingerbread men take to the street over the final weekends at Boxpark leading to the New Year.
In addition to our band of scrumptious friends on the streets of Boxpark, festive décor such as brightly lit reindeer, a glittery Christmas tree and the beloved giant golden teddy bear, are dotted across the outdoor location for the month of December.
