Meraas to highlight residences at Port de La Mer at Cityscape Global 2018

  • Dubai World Trade Centre exhibit at Stand S2F 10 to recreate some elements of the first freehold community in the heart of Jumeirah
  • Mediterranean-inspired community at La Mer set for handover in 2020

Meraas will offer visitors to Cityscape Global 2018, set to run from 2 to 4 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, a preview of its beachfront master development Port de La Mer. The Meraas showcase at Stand S2F10 will include an experiential environment enabling visitors to visualise the smells, sights and sounds at the first freehold community in the heart of Jumeirah.

Taking shape at the Northern Peninsula at La Mer, the world-class beachfront destination, Port de La Mer will feature tastefully appointed residential units, a 192-berth superyacht marina, a selection of four- and-five-star hotels as well as a range of trendy boutiques and restaurants.

The first neighbourhood at Port de La Mer, La Côte, will comprise approximately 400 one- to four-bedroom apartments and two-storey penthouses across five low-rise buildings in signature Meraas style. Panoramic sea views and world-class amenities, including a gym, swimming pools, and private beach access, will form an integral part of the living experience at La Côte that is scheduled for handover in 2020. Building podiums and bridges will connect the neighbourhood and allow residents to move seamlessly through open spaces, while controlled vehicle access ensures a safe playing environment for children.

His Excellency Abdulla Al Habbai, Group Chairman of Meraas, said: “Developing holistic living experiences is central to the objectives outlined in the Dubai Plan 2021, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. To contribute to the plan, Meraas is committed to creating communities that enable families to do more of the things they love.”

He added: “Neighbourhoods such as Port de La Mer and others within our portfolio play an essential role in shaping Dubai’s landscape and contribute to ensuring that it remains one of the most appealing 21st century destination cities. Adding a touch of luxury to the neighbourhood with its superyacht marina, Port de La Mer will bring Mediterranean flair to the Arabian Gulf.

In addition to the relaxed lifestyle, the health and well-being benefits associated with living by the sea will go a long way in positioning Port de La Mer as a retreat from the bustle of modern life.

Meraas has enhanced Dubai’s residential landscape with premier urban living destinations such as City Walk and set new benchmarks for seaside living with Bvlgari Residences.

The company’s portfolio of residential units also includes Zabeel Saray, an exclusive community on Palm Jumeirah that redefines luxury living on the island, and mid-rise apartment buildings at Bluewaters, one of the most ambitious ongoing developments in the city situated against the backdrop of Ain Dubai, the tallest observation wheel in the world.

Each of the Meraas destinations plays an active role in elevating Dubai’s status as one of the most attractive places in the world to live and visit, augmented by its cosmopolitan lifestyle and access to world-class transport and infrastructure.

The upcoming edition of Cityscape Global, the largest real estate investment and development event for emerging markets globally, is poised to attract 30,000 visitors. Along with international and regional investors, the annual exhibition and conference also draws the participation of globally acclaimed architects and designers.
