Free the artist within at Boxpark this outdoor season

Paint a canvas, capture your art on a digital graffiti wall and find the stroke that works for you

Boxpark is framing a canvas full of activities to get you in the mood for some serious art this outdoor season. The hip urban destination by Meraas will roll out street art studios for promising artists young and old who’d love to see their masterpieces on display in the Louvre one day.

Over three weekends between 24 October and 9 November 2019 from 5pm to 10pm, you can participate in canvas painting or capture your artistic expression as an image on the digital graffiti wall to keep as a souvenir.

A special creative corner will host a variety of art sessions for children aged four to 10. Kids can create their own artworks using tape, stones and sand, customise their caps, or try their hand at roller canvas painting or ceramic painting.

A minimum spend of AED100 at any outlet at Boxpark will grant you access to the activities.

To complement the artistic theme, creative gobo designs will light up the destination as LED dancers entertain visitors on the sidewalks.

Seven new outlets have opened at Boxpark expanding the range of experiences at the hip destination. These include the trendy abaya shop Ghawani, SGT Boutique that stocks the latest lines of jalabias and kaftans, popular burger joint McDonald’s, Orchestra Megastore with a wide selection of musical instruments, Art of Optics that offers designer frames from leading eyewear brands and Escape The Room that puts your mind to the test in a simulated setting.
